Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents were Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluent German, Russian and English as well as French Persian and Hindi. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian as well as Indian. In 2011, she created a choreography that earned her the opportunity to appear on German TV as the Russian snowmaiden, who then became another Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. In high school, she attended acting classes at HB however she opted to improvise in Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father from Kabul, Afghanistan. In her teens, her parents divorced and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television performance. The actress also appeared in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
