Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas and studied the field of physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. There she played many roles, ranging including local independent films and international commercials. Despite having small parts, the actress rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. After moving to New York and in 2001 she scored her first role on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the early 2000s the small part she played was in JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first big-screen series aired on The Mountain.
